Homework is a valuable aid in helping students make the most of their academic experience. Homework is assigned because it reinforces what has been learned in class and prepares students for upcoming lessons.
Homework Policy
1. All homework is expected to be turned in at the beginning of class to be considered on time unless otherwise directed by the teacher.
2. Daily assignments not completed in class are to be finished for homework.
3. Projects are assigned well in advance and can only receive full credit if turned in on the assigned date.
Missed Work-Students have the same number of days to make up the work as the number of days that they were out. For example, if a student was absent for two days in a row, they would have two days to complete their missing work. Work not made up in allotted time receives a grade of a zero. Students are responsible for getting missed assignments upon their return to school.
